Milan, 29 October 2021 - The wait is finally over! Aprilia Tuareg 660 is about to hit the market.

The most eagerly awaited adventure bike, the off-road bike par excellence, magnificent even to ride on asphalt, will be in dealerships from December.

To celebrate the return of a true off-road legend, Aprilia has developed an online prebooking programme that offers attractive advantages to those who decide to book their purchase, including the privilege of being among the first to take home one of the most eagerly awaited bikes.

Beginning Wednesday, 3 November, you will be able to book your Tuareg 660 on the dedicated website tuareg660.aprilia.com, also accessible from aprilia.com.

From the website, you’ll be able to choose your favourite colour scheme and the dealer where you want to collect the bike. The first units produced will therefore be earmarked for those who have booked online, for whom Aprilia will also guarantee the registration fees included in the sale price, which starts at €11,990, VAT included.

Aprilia Tuareg 660 is developed on the mechanical base of the RS 660 and Tuono 660 and was conceived to tackle the roughest off-road riding and at the same time to be easy and comfortable on trips, aiming to represent the best combination of single-cylinder enduro bikes and medium engine capacity adventure bikes, two opposing worlds - until now.

Non-conforming and absolutely original in its design, lightweight and powerful (187 kg with 80 HP), it is the result of a conceptually ultra-modern and entirely new project. Tuareg 660 stands out for its riding ergonomics, specifically designed for off-road riding, with a wide and handlebar and slender body volume to facilitate movement in the saddle. The extremely long suspension travel guarantees the capability of tackling any obstacle and a comfortable ride on the road and when touring. The equipment package is exceedingly complete and includes the full LED lighting system with perimeter DRL and 5-inch colour TFT instrumentation. It comes standard with the APRC with Ride-by-Wire multimap electronics package which includes traction control, cruise control, engine brake and various engine maps. There are also four customisable Riding Modes that let you maximise the riding experience and make on-board life easier. All the rider has to do is choose a Riding Mode to automatically obtain the best calibration of the electronics.

Aprilia Tuareg 660 is powered by a latest generation forward-facing twin cylinder engine, lightweight and with spectacular performance, fine-tuned to handle even the most demanding off-road riding. Aprilia Tuareg 660's power can be reduced to 35 kW, ideal for new riders but with all the other technical features unvaried. The vast catalogue of accessories includes components capable of making it sportier in off-road riding and more comfortable for travelling. There is also a range of high quality technical apparel dedicated to touring and off-roading. The available colour schemes include the Acid Gold version, bold and distinctive in true Aprilia tradition, and the Martian Red version, dominated by red and black at a list price of €11,990 plus road tax and registration.
